Antalya City

Bearing the same name, Antalya is the central province of the city of Antalya, located in the Aegean region.

Antalya is one of Turkey’s main tourist centres. With its breath-taking nature, its palm tree-lined boulevardes and its city-centre, Kaleiçi, maintaining its historical architecture to date, and being the largest touristic investment area in Turkey, it is one of the nation’s most important locations. Antalya is also one of Turkey’s most migration-receiving cities, not to mention the fact that it is among the few cities in the world with such a high number of hotels.

According to data acquired in the year 2012, 1.121.222 people live in Antalya’s city centre.
